Besides knowing I want to do a motion piece, I'm still pretty unsure of the project I want to tackle. My original concepts for crafting a senior thesis have kind of boiled down to these three ideas:
- Making snowboarding more accessible to the youth and underprivileged. There are a few programs in place already, but a motion piece could really showcase all the mountains have to offer. REI conducted a study and found a number of ski/snowboard companies placing programs in places like Vermont, Utah, and Denver.

- Creating a visual guide for new people coming to the skatepark. I've seen so many accidents and injuries over the years from both kids and adults who try out their local skatepark. Could there possibly be an explainer video that could drive the basic hazards of a park?

- Building a guide for new fans soccer. Soccer is one of the only major sports building up more market share in the US. With that momentum new fans will need a guide to things like basic rules and tactics. Or if that's too basic, there's an opportunity to create a fandom or "supporter" guide.
